They say 'when life gives you lemons make lemonade' - I'm not a fan of fizzy drinks or platitudes so ended up making lampshades instead! Creating lampshades gave me a creative focus, with the additional benefit of being fantastic therapy for a damaged hand. I soon discovered a passion for creating beautiful bespoke lighting solutions, as well as an unhealthy obsession with fabrics! 

Alongside a drastic change in circumstances and lifestyle I inadvertently stumbled across the power of colour and light, how it can impact our mood, feelings, and even behaviour. Serendipity Shades is not about following trends or mass production, the focus is on the individual, their home, individual style and needs.
